A very successful and financially stable development company based in the Gloucestershire area seek a Senior Serverside Java Developer.
Role: Java Web Developer (Java OO, SQL server)
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: DOE but likely to be £25-30k pa plus benefits
This development company is able offer work in a fast-growing development team working on cutting edge software development projects.
You will be supporting, designing and developing clients’ web-based applications by developing technical solutions that adhere to pre-agreed specifications. In addition to these development activities a small part of the role will be accurately estimating project timescales and the implementation of unit testing as well internal report writing.
We seek a computer Science Degree or equivalent, solid Java OO experience as well as ideally Adobe Flex, Adobe Air or ActionScript 3 (AS3) experience. Strong XML and web service skills are also required as is some experience of working on complex GUIs. Knowledge of open source software products is an advantage.
Our client has told us their development team work in a rapidly evolving technical environment therefore candidates must be willing to be cross-trained to other new technologies.
