Job description:
Job Title: Project Controls Practice Leader (EMEA).
Based: This role can be based in any of four locations - Manchester, Newcastle, London or Edinburgh.
Salary: c.£80-90,000 per annum plus benefits (negotiable package dependent upon experience).
Start Date: August/September 2010.

My client are a global company who have a successful and growing presence here in the UK. At the forefront of this ongoing growth is their Power & Energy Group who are experiencing tremendous success and growth. They currently have a small Project Controls Group (c.10 people) who are working with large multi-national corporations such as Shell, BP and Saudi Aramco.

What they are looking for is someone to lead this group forward and take the team/section to the 'next level'. They certainly have the client contacts and the track record, but currently lack someone to take ownership of projects and drive the business forward. What they are looking for is a strategic person who can bring clear direction and business strategy to the group. You must have the necessary experience to command the respect of your team and peers, and preferably with a demonstrable background in building and enhancing successful Business Units/Groups in similar environments.

The role can be based out of Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh or London so there is a great deal of flexibility there.
In terms of package, they are very competitive payers within the market and are willing to negotiate to ensure that the package/offer to successful applicants is a highly attractive one.

Should you feel that you have the skills and experience necessary to push this Project Controls group to even bigger and better things, then please get in contact for further details.
