Are you looking for a permanent, part-time role that will allow you to work from home? Take a look at this great new role. This is a great opportunity for a mid-weight Front-End JavaScript Developer looking to join a stable and friendly organisation. You can work from home (2 or 3 days a week) and as this is a permanent role so the rest of your week could be free for freelance work.

Our client is a small software group so you'll be given a real chance to shine and produce some great code that is critical to our client's success. 

To be considered for this Front-End Developer role you will need the following expertise:

  • JavaScript Framework experience (any)
  • Skilled in HTML5 and CSS3 (incl. OOCSS)
  • Bootstrap 3
  • Vanilla JavaScript experience (some JQuery)
  • AJAX & JSON
  • Cross-browser compatibility (including testing and debugging) experience

 Your day-to-day job duties will include:

  • Writing clean, well-designed code
  • Production of detailed specifications
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain current front-end functionality
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Developing and deploying new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Above all, you'll need to be passionate about programming and demonstrate a willingness to explore and learn new technologies.

A Degree is not required for this role but would obviously help. 

You'll need to be a self-starter, not afraid of technology and someone who can plan and manage their own workload.
