*For this exciting new opportunity, there will be a great deal of flexibility around remote working, with our customer's current team based across locations such as Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and London. Whilst we imagine that some office-based working will make up the working week in the future, there is great scope for flexibility and this can be discussed and negotiated during the application process.
Working as a Front-End Developer, our customer can offer the opportunity to become an integral part of a growing and hard-working team, providing support to customers and fellow team members alike. Your focus will be on ensuring high quality code is delivered in line with project goals and delivery cycles, as well as thriving using Agile methods. Whilst opportunity will exist to work on both greenfield and brownfield projects, this is an environment where you can truly put your stamp on their projects and the future direction of the team and Business Unit.
We hope that the Front-End Developer joining the team will have some of the following skills, knowledge and experience:
*experience of working with Angular to deliver exceptional web front-ends.
*strong experience of working with HTML / CSS, JavaScript and Responsive UI design.
*experience of working with other web frameworks (such as React and related tools, including React.js, Webpack and Redux) would be ideal.
*experience of working with Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks.
*browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
*knowledge of charting libraries.
*experience working with prformance testing frameworks, such as Jest or Mochal.
*a proven track record for delivering pixel perfect UI's against a provided design.
*practical knowledge of APIs and REST endpoints.
*ability to coach and develop lesser experienced Developers.
*ability to work well with others in multi-functional teams.
*cultivate innovation around you and have a growth mindset.
