We are currently searching for an enthusiastic and experienced General Maintenance Engineer to work within our customer's afternoon shift,  a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team to provide skilled support in matters relating to premises maintenance and machinery repair.  This would would be carried out within the afternoon shift,  from 3pm to midnight from Monday to Friday.

We anticipate that the successful candidate for this particular opportunity will hold responsibility for the following tasks and activities:
*e
nsuring plant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct manner.
*maintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purpose.
*ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
*continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality,  cost and safety.
*assisting production with machinery problems and setups,  providing relevant training when appropriate.
*completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards.

To prove successful within this fantastic new opportunity,  we anticipate that the successful candidate will have a balance of the following skills,  knowledge and experience:
*a BTEC / C&G (or other similar qualification) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.  Any appropriate post-qualification experience within a Manufacturing environment could also prove beneficial.
*having completed 18th Edition training would also be an advantage.
*excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
*well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
*attention to detail,  commitment and the ability to accept responsibility are key in this role.
