*Our customer is based in Cardiff.  Whilst the role would be Work From Home initially,  the customer feels that the role will be a blend of office-based and Work From Home in the future.

As outlined above,  we are currently searching for an experienced hands-on Head of Marketing to join an established InsurTech business in Cardiff.  This opportunity is with a forward-thinking business where the team ethos and working environment is of great importance to them.  They are seeking to continue with their recent growth and have ambitious plans for growth and the future of the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the Insurance / Financial Services industry and have an understanding of marketing to both B2B and B2C,  in line with our customer's business model.  Our customer also value experience of working in other sectors,  where there is a strong history in transferring and adapting marketing strategy and solutions to reflect diverse company cultures.

To prove successful within this exceptional new opportunity as a Head of Marketing,  we anticipate that the applicant for this role will have responsibility for the following tasks and responsibilities:
*to craft and execute a far-reaching marketing strategy that accurately reflects our customer.
*to create,  schedule and deliver marketing activities to agreed budgets,  timescales and commercial objectives.
*demonstrate a clear understanding of the nuances of B2B and B2C communications.
*be able to lead and manage a forward-thinking creative marketing team.
*develop an integrated campaign approach,  which aligns with the sales and distribution strategy of the company.
*set,  monitor and report on strategic objectives.
*input on design,  branding and positioning.
*ensure that their brand message is strong and consistent across all channels.
*analyse customer behaviours and patterns and enact for positive change.
*identify new opportunities to reach an extending customer base.
*diversify ways to hook new customers whilst keeping the existing customer base fully engaged.
*ensure the highest level of quality in all output across a diverse medium range.
*provide support to other departments, such as HR, through internal communications and campaigns.
*collaborate with peers across the business and actively engage the Board in marketing initiatives.
*prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.

We anticipate that the successful applicant for this exceptional new opportunity will have the following skills,  knowledge and experience:
*experience of working in the Insurance / Financial Services industry.
*a Marketing specific qualification – for example via the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
*demonstrable experience of having run successful marketing campaigns.
*firm knowledge of Google Analytics.
*experience of using a CRM system – preferably MS Dynamics.
*experience of using tools like Click Dimensions,  Campaign Monitor,  Mail Chimp and similar.
*evidence of embedding the values of an organisation and supporting a maturing culture.
*experience of using WordPress and Elementor (or a similar tool).
*experience in managing multiple social media accounts to striking effect.

Experience of working with some of the following technologies would be highly advantageous:
*cross sector experience of diversifying marketing strategies to reflect disparate cultures and operating models.
*educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
*proficiency in HTML.
*experience of using SurveyMonkey,  Adobe products,  MS Dynamics CRM,  Click Dimensions,  Campaign Monitor,  HotJar,  Hootsuite,  Typeform,  WooBox and Publitas.
