We are currently searching for an enthusiastic IT Technician and our customer is offering a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team,  who provide back office support for the IT Infrastructure across the business.  The successful candidate for this exciting new position should have great passion and enthusiasm for providing first class IT Support,  with a desire to build a successful career in this area.

We anticipate that the successful candidate for this particular opportunity will hold responsibility for the following tasks and activities:
*provide first class software and hardware support for system users across the business.
*provide day-to-day operations and back office support for all IT systems.
*work proactively in the development of all systems and processes.
*within a Manufacturing environment,  ensure the accurate monitoring of the company's production activities and liaise with all allied IT,  Finance and Administration functions.
*provide technical support to all staff across the business.
*maintain all IT hardware and equipment such as PC's,  terminals,  printers and all other office equipment,  as well as barcode scanners,  barcode labelling equipment,  weigh and labelling equipment.
*find solutions to problems and have a hands-on approach to support activities.


To prove successful within this fantastic new opportunity,  we anticipate that the successful candidate will have a balance of the following skills,  knowledge and experience:
*a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office package,  with up to date Windows knowledge,  ideally of Windows 7 & 10.
*basic networking skills and knowledge (TCP/IP).
*ideally hold an IT-based qualification relating to IT Support functions.
*have an adaptable approach which will allow you learn and understand bespoke technologies quickly.
*exceptional organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
*strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*attention to detail,  commitment and the ability to accept responsibility.
*a flexible,  motivated and proactive approach to IT Support work.
