*Our customer is based in Cardiff.  Whilst the role would be Work From Home initially,  there may be a need to provide some level of on-site support in the future.

Working within a highly ambitious and friendly working environment,  this opportunity is a critical position within our customer and will support the data maintenance and fulfil reporting requirements for the organisation.  We anticipate that the successful applicant for this exciting opportunity will be tasked with carrying out a variety of tasks and activities,  gaining exposure to working on several projects. 

To prove successful within this exceptional new opportunity as an MI Analyst,  we anticipate that the applicant for this role will have responsibility for the following tasks and responsibilities:
*ensure all database maintenance and reporting jobs are complete successfully.
*develop SQL reports using T-SQL.
*create, edit, and deploy SSIS packages.
*create Power BI data models and build reports.​
*carry out log checking and diagnose issues.
*be fully familiar with SSRS.
*carry out advanced MS Excel manipulation when required.
*ensure that all reports are delivered on a timely manner,  with an emphasis on quality of such reports.
*champion the concept of making data driven decisions.
*work with varying datasets from various sources such as MySQL,  MSSQL and Mongo DB.
*support virtual estate,  back-end systems and services to the business.
*carry out basic maintenance on reporting servers (as appropriate).
*look for ways to improve / enhance reporting wherever possible.
*assist / lead on projects as required.

Experience of working with some of the following technologies would be highly advantageous:
*working within the Insurance / Finance industry.
*big data.
*Power BI.
*VBA.
*PowerShell.
*C#.
*Advanced MS Excel capabilities.
*Crystal Reporting.
*Business Objects.
*Trello.
*Azure Dev Ops.
