This is a rare opportunity for a middleweight or senior PHP Developer who is looking to work on a diverse range of projects as part of an experienced and friendly development team of 10 people. Your role will be to deliver business-critical applications using modern development methodologies and practices.
To be considered for this PHP Web Developer role you will need to demonstrate as many as possible of the following skills...
- Solid PHP fundamentals - knowledge of OOP and common design patterns
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB etc).
- Linux Web server administration
- Front End Development experience (HTML, CSS and JavaScript - although this is mainly a Backend Development role)
- Knowledge of modern development practices (Git, PHPUnit, Composer)
- Working knowledge of a PHP Framework (Symfony or Laravel preferred)
- API integration experience
Working knowledge of a PHP framework (Laravel or Symfony is preferred will help, as would front end JavaScript framework experience (angular, react, vue etc...)
It would help if you enjoy problem-solving and you will be encouraged to explore the use of technology to improve the organisation's day-to-day operations. Above all, you will be expected to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
