Project Manager / Project Delivery / Delivery Specialist


*Our customer is based in Cardiff and operates a hybrid working solution, with their team members working from the office a couple of days per week.  They would perhaps like someone to work in the office a little more frequently when they initially join the team, to get up to speed and complete training and onboarding more efficiently.

This is an exceptional new opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Manager / Delivery Specialist to join an award-winning company within an exciting IT / Software Development environment here in South Wales.  The Project Manager / Delivery Specialist will be responsible for the successful management of projects and solutions to customers, ensuring that they're delivered within budget, meet customer requirements and timescales, as well as adhering to appropriate quality standards.  The role will work closely with their technical and test teams, to ensure that projects are fully controlled against time given and that the product reaches clients “fit for purpose”, easy to use and fully up to standard.  The role will also include identifying work that's required from discussions with clients, then working with the delivery team to ensure planning and scheduling of work is efficient to maximise delivery for the client and ensure revenue levels are maintained for the business.

We anticipate that the successful applicant for this position will have the following responsibilities:
*project management of complex web-based projects.
*assessing and developing business requirements with clients and internally.
*delivery services such as training and ensuring quality control of the product,  as well as assisting clients to ensure a smooth delivery.
*ensure projects are delivered in a structured,  well communicated and timely manner.

Whilst we are flexible to consider applicants from a variety of backgrounds, we feel that it would be fantastic for the successful candidate for this opportunity to have some of the following skills, knowledge and experience:
*a background, commercially or academically, in areas such as IT or Business Management.
*prior IT experience implementing complex web-based or IT projects to large-scale clients would be highly beneficial.
*experience / knowledge of gathering business needs and creating workable solutions.
*experience in business process and / or technology implementation.
*prior experience of working with organisational change management / leadership and process change management would be helpful.
*hands-on experience with Agile best practices and methods would be advantageous.
*any experience and understanding of development technologies such as C#,  ASP.NET, JavaScript and HTML / CSS would be great.
