We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Software Developer with solid commercial experience and background to join an expanding Development team in Cardiff during an exciting period of growth. Within this exciting new position you will be tasked with the development of first-class applications, utilising your programming skills and knowledge with C# and ASP.NET.
Working within a specialist team of C# Software Developers, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting cutting-edge web-based applications using C#, ASP.NET and MVC. The candidate will be developing applications for clients globally.
The primary skills, experience and knowledge required to prove successful within the role will be:
•strong coding and development experience with C# and ASP.NET.
•solid commercial experience with Java (with a passion to transition to .NET) could also be considered for this position.
•HTML / XML.
•a detailed understanding of back-end development activities with a passion for high quality coding and programming.
•experience working on a full project lifecycle from design to delivery.
*experience of working with technologies such as Javascript, JQuery, HTML and CSS would also be beneficial.
Experience with the following would also be beneficial
•MVC.
•version control software (SVN or Git).
•Scrum workflow.
•SQL Server and Visual Studio.
