Job Title:  Software Release & Support Administrator.
Location: Cardiff.
Salary: £18-22,000 per annum,  negotiable dependent on experience.
Start Date:  February 2020.

An exceptional new opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Software Release & Support Administrator to join a successful and expanding Development team in Cardiff.  The customer are currently experiencing continued growth of their project portfolio and they are seeking enthusiastic and ambitious individuals to continue and further their success.  Within this exciting position,  you will have responsibility for both Development releases and for the company's Helpdesk function.

Within this exciting opportunity,  you will touch on many areas of the business,  working closely with Developers,  Sales and Marketing professionals,  as well as Project Managers.

We anticipate that the successful applicant for this position will have the following responsibilities:
*managing the releases of the company's applications and databases.
*communicating progress and outcomes to clients.
*managing the Helpdesk,  to ensure that client requests are acted upon and closed.
*promptly and accurately prioritising the cases in the support queue.
*resolve cases where possible.
*allocate support cases to appropriate team members to progress and solve.
*update clients on progress and status of cases.
*report to Line Managers on Helpdesk numbers and statuses / progress.
*ensure cases meet KPI's of client SLA's.
*escalate cases / issues when necessary.
*monitor case progress and ensure resolution.
*liaise with clients and or third parties when necessary.

We anticipate that the successful candidate for this position will have the following skills,  knowledge and experience:
*academic background in IT (Systems Support or Software Development preferred),  or commensurate commercial experience.
*the products are highly configurable software applications.  As such,  its imperative that the successful candidate be a fast learner who will quickly become proficient in the systems functions.
*capable of interpreting client context and applying to a system.
*ability to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical terms.  Ability to communicate professionally,  both by phone and by email.
*ability to cultivate positive working relationships with client and co-workers alike.
*analytical and troubleshooting skills.
*ability to work independently is a must.
*proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
