A successful eCommerce group is looking for an experienced Paid / Performance Manager (PPC) to join their internal Marketing team. You will take responsibility for managing PPC campaigns across a variety of Channels, including Google Ads and Bing Ads. 

Role: Paid / Performance Manager (PPC)
Salary: £32-40k p.a. 
Location: Co. Durham

You will understand the role paid advertising plays in the wider marketing mix, and be able to confidently recommend approaches, ad formats, and solutions to meet the needs of the business (within specific budgets and timescales). As well as possessing hands-on digital marketing skills, you will also be able to present rationales and statistics which report on the performance of campaigns through Google Analytics or other reporting tools. Experience in increasing visibility on Google Platforms using the Performance Max (PMax) auto-upgrade would be beneficial. 

Your key responsibilities within this PPC role will be...

  • Delivering excellent PPC campaigns/results

  • Recommending and implementing PPC strategies built on data and product knowledge

  • Collaboration with the wider (digital) marketing team, including specialists in other (digital) marketing fields

  • Managing budgets to deliver eCommerce campaigns that meet or exceed objectives, while remaining on time and on-budget

  • Producing regular campaign dashboards and reports that enable stakeholders to understand the real-time performance of campaigns.

In terms of technical skills and experience we seek, we are looking for a bright, articulate individual who is commercially savvy and can offer demonstrable knowledge of the following…

  • Deep understanding of managing and optimising Google Paid (Pmax, shopping search, retargeting) 

  • Ability to optimise Bing in line with Google

  • Meta - managing bidding and targeting strategies, both in retargeting and prospecting 

  • Proficient in managing very large media spend annual budgets with 10x ROAS contributions
     
  • Deep level of Google Analytics, eCommerce performance, cross-device, customer journeys, and attribution modelling understanding
  • Ability to work under pressure and plan workload independently, as well as working effectively within a team environment

  • Experience generating campaign reports and interpreting performance for varied stakeholders

  • Agency experience is a possibility
     
  • High-level of technical literacy; quickly learning new technologies

This is a full-time, permanent role and due to the nature of the team-orientated environment, it is likely to be an office-based role for the first six months.
