We're searching for a driven and passionate Sales professional to work alongside a Sales & Marketing Executive, focusing on a variety of Sales and Marketing activity within an IT / Software business environment.  The work will focus on selling IT / Software solutions, so a passion for all things tech would be beneficial.

*Hybrid working model - whilst we imagine that you'll work from the office in Cardiff more frequently during the initial phase of your employment (to familiarise yourself with the team, products and processes), we anticipate that this will become more flexible in the future, with 2-3 days per week working from the office in the longer term.

Within this exciting opportunity, we anticipate that as Sales & Marketing Assistant will initially be responsible for:
*engaging prospects to generate leads; including:
- website and tender site searches.
- locating contacts for campaigns.
- first contact emails for introductions.
- engaging with social media posts.
*assisting the Sales & Marketing Executive with tenders.
*assisting the Sales & Marketing Executive in effectively executing marketing campaigns and targeted sales campaigns to generate new leads.
*diary management of the Sales & Marketing Executive and setting up calls with clients / prospects.
*utilising and developing the company's social media channels with daily interactions, topical posts and understanding current social media trends, to create content to align with this.

We anticipate that the role will expand over time, so that the role will also include the following tasks & responsibilities:
*request for Change Management for existing clients.
*attending and carrying out initial discussions and demonstrations.
*creation of marketing literature, such as news stories and social media articles.
*assisting and creating demonstration resources.
*work with the Sales & Marketing Executive to progress prospects through the sales pipeline.
*search trending topics for our customer's specialist areas of focus, for general news stories.
*attend Conferences with the Sales & Marketing Executive to raise brand awareness.

Within this exciting new opportunity, we feel that the ability to take responsibility for your workload and take the initiative for your projects are the key to success, as is the willingness to get involved in a range of tasks which may occur and need support.  An ICT / Software background is not required for this role, but we'd like to find someone who'd feel comfortable (after training provided) effectively discussing and promoting our customer's system from a sales and marketing perspective. 

Experience with some of the following aspects would be welcomed:
*some experience of delivering sales and marketing services.
*experience of working in a customer facing role.
*ability and confidence to make telephone calls in a professional manner.
*an interest in technology.
*demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office.
*experience of research, being comfortable gathering and analysing data.
*entrepreneurial / understanding of / interest in working for a small business.
*methodical and organised, with the ability to manage your own workload and to successfully deliver to deadlines.
*ability to work unsupervised and to use own initiative.
